A world covered
With guidelines and such
With sunlight and chores

With memories and friends
And family and love
A story or lore
From books and more
Of the mystical, the mythical
Fantasy and terrible
Lay asleep in the sheets
On a pillow, under quilts
To the promise of another
Mind of innocent lines

Sadistic and horrid

It's 2012 and Im living with my current girlfriend. I come to my desk, which is scattered with things, and after two or three hours I realize a piece of paper in front of me has my handwriting and signature on it. It's a poem I had to have written in 9th or 10th grade (2004-2006) and my memory of the poem is so vague it's practically non-existent.
I really do not enjoy this poem. Its too scattered and confusing. From what I can tell (or remember), the first two lines of each... stanza? Lets call them word groupings...
premise each grouping.. The mind of an innocent person and the mind of an evil person...
the bulk of the groupings are basically a purposeful run-on sentence that I THINK is suppose simulate streaming consciousness of each of those people on an average basis of what their lives are like over the course of their existence... if that makes sense.
And each conclusion is suppose to be the average ending to each person's every day.
I dunno, like I said, it had to be written 6-8 years ago. I do remember being younger and frequently just taking a pencil to a sheet of paper, writing my thoughts in structured stanzas and trying to rhyme them naturally, and then refining the poem later. Many of my poems are like that, and Ive found its really a hit or a miss when it comes to them being good (to me, at least).
Anyway, just because I don't enjoy it doesn't mean you guys shouldn't try
